Great for contact sports: wrestling, jiu-jitsu, muay thai

I just recently switched to daily wear lenses and I really like these. They are just as comfortable if not more so than the Freshlook VTs (monthly lense), and those were some comfortable lenses. The best thing about them is that they are thicker (worried me at first) and more durable feeling, yet still comfortable. They stay on the eye very well because they don't fold over easily. Practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu my Freshlooks popped out every once in awhile; the trial Acuvue Dailies always popped out within 5 minutes of starting. These have yet to budge. Awesome! My only gripe, is that there seems to be a slight manufacturing issue. In my first box I've already come across 2 faulty lenses. They weren't torn, they just had a "bite" taken out of them on the edge. You know how when you buy leafy veggies sometimes there's bite marks on the edges from insects, that's pretty much what they looked like. Overall, these lenses are great and if you participate in any kind of sport, especially heavy contact sports, these are the lenses for you.

Very uncomfortable. Annoying packaging

What I've used before: Acuvue 2, Acuvue 1-day, Focus Dailies, Acuvue Oasys, Focus Night & Day. I bought a pack of Bausch & Lomb Soflens just to try them out. Immediately I noticed the packaging: it was the worst packaging I've ever seen for contact lenses! They were all stuck together, there were no defined tear points, no defined lift tabs, and the adhesive was just overkill. I cannot imagine going through that every day just to put on contacts. On the other hand, the Acuvue One-Day and Focus Dailies had good packaging. Comfort-wise, I cannot stand having these in my eyes for more than 4 hours, even with eyedrops. They are so thick, and the oxygen permeability is crap! The Acuvue and Focus ones, I could handle for about 8 hours. I've accidentally slept with the Focus Dailies (with consequence of course, but it didn't kill my eyes), but I imagine these Soflens would tear me a new one if I did that. AND, B&L Soflens are more expensive than Focus Dailies, so I definitely would not recommend these at all. I'll give it 2 stars just because the prescription actually worked.

Best daily I've tried

These B&L are lathe-cut, so they have a very thin edge, which means that they feel really comfortable on the eye. They are the most comfortable ones I've tried. They are also pretty durable.
